Our thoughts are with everyone affected. This page lists the disaster relief funds currently being accepted by the Japanese Red Cross Society. It is updated automatically every day, and closed appeals disappear on their own.

Donating from outside Japan
The bank accounts listed on the Japanese pages are domestic accounts and are generally not usable from abroad. If you are outside Japan, please use one of these instead.
Japanese Red Cross Society — donate by credit card
The JRCS accepts online donations in English by credit card, and through platforms such as GlobalGiving, Benevity and iRaiser.
Your national Red Cross or Red Crescent society
The JRCS itself recommends this route: donating through the Red Cross in your own country may make your gift tax-deductible where you live, and the funds still reach the affected areas.
We do not collect donations ourselves
This channel does not accept or forward donations. Giving directly through an official window means no handling fees are taken, and any tax deduction goes to you. This page is for information only.
